Final Retouched Image |
For my 2nd time using Photoshop, I was content with the outcome of this image, yet I still feel that there is great room for improvement. Initially, it was easy to begin this project, seeing as all I had to do was crop the image in order to straighten the image itself. (That was about as easy as it got) Then the real fun began- I had to change the color of the orange tarp near the bottom right hand corner, by clicking the rectangular marquee tool, and then selecting Image>Adjustments>Replace color. I had trouble doing this because I wanted to change the color without going outside the lines and while matching the color with the the other green by adjusting the RGB levels. Next, I had to be careful with adjusting the highlights that are on the gondala, seeing as the burn tool is very overpowering. Afterwards, I had to add the clouds in the background which was frustrating because the clouds themselves didn't blend with the original background. Never the less, you can see that this image became more scenic by elevating the brightness thus producing a much happier tone.
