Although this Melon Head Man may seem simplistic, I would say that I have learned so much just from my first attempt with Photoshop. During class, we were instructed to take the initial image and create a face using the food as seen above. I will admit that even though we were given direction and instructions, I still struggled a great deal. I was frustrated seeing as I was unable to select a single part of the image without messing up one of my layers. More specifically, I would try to use the quick selection tool to simply cut  and paste the fruits  into a new layer but I found that I was in actuality cutting the images from my original layer, thus I became thoroughly confused when I couldn't see my edits through the layers.
